Where is Norbert?

Wheres Norbert?

Where's Norbert?

5:30 pm – It looks like we may have dodged a bullet.

Fred on SV Sojourn just did his 5pm update on VHF ch. 72 and said the hurricane is now east of us and getting easter (I know, bad grammar).

The photo (r) is of Terry and Terry (Hutcheon and Fallis, aboard SV Dream Catcher); they spent the day not only preparing their boat, but a few others whose owners were not here to do it. They illustrate the cruising ideal of altruism.

Fred’s briefing went this way:

Hurricane eye is at 25.8 N 110.3 W

Barometric pressure of Norbert -  970 millibar low (that’s low)… moving 30 degrees N at 15 knots.

Centre is north at Los Mochis and will go ashore at Topolobampo. Fred is saying that we are getting all that we will get. So it looks like it will be a no show here. And all the work I did!
